In order to become authorised as a translator, you have to pass a tough series of tests set by Sweden's Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency in the languages and language pairs you want to work with. Read here about the stringent requirements and guidelines which are applicable to the protected professional title authorised (sworn) translator and which guarantee high-quality translations.
I was born in the UK and moved to Sweden in 1980. Ever since, I have been active in the language consultancy business, doing teaching, translating, language editing, and copywriting. That adds up to over 30 years' experience of helping people to express themselves clearly and correctly in English.
Over 30 years' experience of the translation businessMy customers over the years are too numerous to mention here. Recent customers include Karlstads universitet, Fenix/Chalmers, Länsförsäkringar, SIK, Handelshögskolan i Stockholm, Liber, and Synovate.
