Having passed the rigorous authorization test set by Sweden's Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegiet), I am authorized by that agency to translate from Swedish into English, holding the protected professional title of State Authorized Translator. I was
born in the UK and moved to Sweden in the summer of 1980. Since that
time, I have been active in the language industry in the fields of
teaching, translating, language editing, and copywriting. I thus have almost 30 years' experience of helping people to express themselves
clearly and correctly in the English language.
Before
moving to Sweden, I worked in the UK as a technical journalist. After
learning Swedish, I studied applied linguistics and pedagogics at Lund
University while establishing a language consultancy of my own. My
fields of expertise include business, technical,
general, and insurance English.

My
customers over the years are too numerous to mention here. Recently,
however, they have included Karlstad
University, Fenix/Chalmers,
Länsförsäkringar, SIK,
the Stockholm School of Economics, Liber, and
